London Diamond Bourse to host ASSURE Showcase in collaboration with Natural Diamond Council
The London Diamond Bourse in collaboration with the Natural Diamond Council will be hosting the first ever London ASSURE Showcase of Diamond Verification Instruments.
The event will take place in London and will run from June 20th until July 29th 2022. The six-week event will take place at the London Diamond Bourse, 100 Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8NX and will enable members of the diamond and jewellery trade the opportunity to try many of the Diamond Verification Instruments available today.
The purpose of the ASSURE Showcase is to promote usage of Diamond Verification Instruments in the UK by facilitating a space for retailers, jewellers, and trade participants to learn about instruments and interact with the manufacturers. At the ASSURE Showcase there will be a wide range of instruments with different capabilities and price points.
At the centre of consumer protection is the ability to distinguish between natural diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds and diamond simulants. Separating the different products requires specialised instruments. Every Diamond Verification Instrument has unique benefits and choosing which device to purchase can be a daunting task.
The ASSURE Program was born out of the necessity to assess the relative performance of Diamond Verification Instruments available on the market by testing their performance in an unbiased manner and publishing their findings. Find the list of ASSURE Tested instruments here.
Viewing of equipment and speaking with manufacturer’s representatives, in person or virtually, will be strictly by appointment and will be available to all members of the trade. Attendees will have the opportunity to be hands on with the equipment using their own diamonds and diamond jewellery.
